Literary Coordinator, Poets House — “Poet as Witness: Central American Poetics”, Conceived and pitched program; coordinated outreach and promotion, developed visual materials, and curated a lineup of poets for a public literary event engaging themes of Central American poetics and cultural witness.

teaching*

Support Teacher for Roots of Resistance, an all ages zine-making workshop inspired by The Warehouse exhibition at the Bedford Branch of Brooklyn Public Library, inviting participants to create handmade books exploring incarceration, resistance, and abolition. Held in collaboration with Booklyn.
Co-facilitator of Mixte-Zines, a free 8-session zine making workshop held at Mixteca, a community-based organization servicing the Latin American immigrant community of Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Held in collaboration with Booklyn, zines concern: Updates on migration policies, Know your rights and Family preparedness in case of detention.
Fragments of Home: a Zine Lab on Immigrant Voices and Visual Poetics, A free 5-session bilingual workshop, conceived of & conducted as a co-teaching artist w/ BCCP. Explored the intersections of language, visual art & immigrant experiences through the lens of experimental poetry. Hosted at Thomas Jefferson High School in East New York, Brooklyn in 2024.
